February 2, 2004—David Pietrusza's Rothstein: The Life, Times, and Murder of the Criminal Genius Who Fixed the 1919 World Series has been nominated for the Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award in the True Crime Category.

The winner will be announced Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the 58th annual Edgar Awards dinner gala at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City.
